Pauline Janet Schmuker

Pauline Janet Schmuker (nee Stancliff), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at the age of 85 in Englewood, Florida. Born on April 29, 1939, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Seymour and Mildred Stancliff, Pauline led a long and fulfilling life. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Robert Schmuker.
Pauline's family was her world. She was immensely proud of each of her eight children: Vivian Hamstra, Robert Schmuker II (Linda Ryskamp), Mark and Julie Schmuker, Jeffrey Schmuker, Mary and Robert VanSpronsen, William Schmuker, Bradley and Deb Schmuker, and Jeff Abdalla. Her legacy extends to a remarkable 45 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom will cherish her memory. Pauline's warmth and generosity touched many lives.
She is survived by her children, her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Larry and Shirley Stancliff, Phyllis Fish, Dick Hill and Thom Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schmuker; her brother, Spike Stancliff; her sister, Juanita Abid; her son-in-law, Paul Hamstra; daughter in law Sandy Abdalla; and two grandsons, Jeremy Schmuker and Chad VanSpronsen.
