In Loving Memory

William “Bill” Hink, age 77 of Brookston, passed away on January 30, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.  A Service will be held at the Arrowhead Town Hall, 9798 US-2, Brookston, MN 55711 on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 1PM, with visitation one hour prior.  Burial with military honors will occur at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Duluth.   

 

William was born on October 12, 1947 to Maurice and Sylvia (Joki) Hink in Duluth.  He entered the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Rozanne Smith.  Bill was a cook and enjoyed antiquing, flea markets and auctions.   He spent much time with family and friends hunting, fishing and traveling. 

 

Bill is survived by his wife, Rozanne Hink; sons, William A. Hink (Michelle), Clayton Hink and Phillip Hink; grandsons, William “Levi” Hink and Logan Dawson Hink; 1 great-grandson, Oakley Hink; beloved dog, Maggie and rescue cat, Sammy; 2 brothers, Dennis Hink and Michael Hink; 3 sisters, Joanne (Ray) Balow, Patti (Ben) Anderson, and Andrea Rencsok; other family and friends.

 

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and Brother Richard Hink.
