Rose Blea
January 19th, 1947 - January 22nd, 2025
Rose Blea, 78, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on January 19, 1947, to Basilio and Valentina Rodriguez, Rose was one of twenty-one children and grew up with a deep appreciation for family and faith. She often recalled her time at Catholic school, where she was taught by nuns, shaping her values and love for learning.
Rose was an accomplished and dedicated individual. She worked as an English teacher and spent her early years working with computers, demonstrating her intelligence and curiosity.
Her first marriage to Victor Perez brought three children into her life—Janice, Victor Jr. (who predeceased her), and Renee’. Later, Rose married Henry Blea, and together they celebrated 51 years of love and devotion.
Rose leaves behind a loving family: her husband, Henry; two children, Janice and Renee’; eight grandchildren: Brittany, Adam, Alisha, Victoria, Shelbie, Savanah, MaKayla, and Miranda; eleven great-grandchildren: Joziah, Ezra, DiCaprio, Ailla, Elias, Gio, Harley, Lincoln, Lily, Blane, and Blade; and one great-grandchild expected in May. Rose is also preceded in heaven by her twelfth great-grandchild, Blaze. She will be remembered as an intelligent, beautiful, and caring person who always put others before herself.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
There will be a viewing with a church service Friday, February 7th, 2025 at Holy Ghost Church starting at 9:00am. Immediately following will be the graveside honors service at Ft Logan National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
