Angela Kay Halstead
May 30th, 1944 - February 5th, 2025
Angela Kay Halstead, 80, of Lynchburg, Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
She was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 30, 1944 , a daughter of the late Kenneth Mack Miller and the late Reva Garnett Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear husband Ronald Leroy Halstead, father in law Lewis Halstead, mother in law Violet Halstead, sister Linda Walter and brother in law David Walter. She was also preceded by her fur baby poodles, Mitzi and Gigi. Kay is survived by her daughters, Felicia Ann Davis (Wayne) and Amy Denise Jenkins (Chad), nephew Danny Summers (Kathi), niece Tina Bledsoe (Larry), and her grand pup Bitsy.
Kay graduated from St. Albans High School in West Virginia and then met and married the love of her life, Ronald Halstead in 1965. After a few quick job changes, they relocated to Lynchburg Virginia in 1972 and Lynchburg became their new home. Together, they attended Timberlake Baptist Church where they faithfully served the Lord as Christians.
Mom, we love you and miss you, but we are rejoicing that you are with your Lord and Savior and reunited with Dad in Heaven.
The service has been rescheduled to Monday due to impending bad weather on Tuesday.. Please see below change.
A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 10th at the Timberlake Baptist Church Ministry Center. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at 5:00 pm for family, friends, and fellow church members. Pastor James Alley and Pastor Jeff Abbett will be conducting the service.
A graveside service will also be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, West Virginia with burial to follow.
