Lynn Jordan
April 10th, 1938 - February 4th, 2025
Lynn Anthony Jordan of Fort Atkinson passed away on February 4, 2025. He was born April 10, 1938, to Eldo and Doris (Miller) Jordan in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
He grew up in Minnesota and worked as a truck driver for the Reserve Mining Company. Lynn enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1958 and was proud to serve his country. He married Florence Klettke in 1973 and was a loving, devoted, and patient husband. Lynn engaged full-heartedly with family, friends and co-workers. His favorite words were, “sit down and let’s visit.” He nurtured his beloved dogs and was proud of his special pony Buster. Reading, fishing, hunting, sports, and his attention to others filled his life. Smiles and laughter came easily and were sincere.
His faith was unwavering. He referred to his pastors as his “church ladies” because they visited him and brought communion. What faith could provide was given. He had numerous health issues but did not complain and was grateful for all those who attended to him. Home healthcare givers were a blessing. Hospital, nursing home, and hospice staff became attached to the ease of sharing in his life.
Lynn is survived by his stepchildren, Betty Vail, Sally Tamblingson, Patsy Seisser, and Gerald Klettke; grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Florence, his parents, his sister Elaine Peterson and her husband Frederick, and other family and friends.
A private inurnment with military honors will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington, at a later date.
Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.

Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson
We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
