David Brian Marshall
November 9th, 1960 - January 31st, 2025
David "Dave" Brian Marshall of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on January 31, 2025.
He was born on November 9, 1960 in Denver, Colorado to Richard Ellsworth and Mildred Brenizer Marshall.
Dave attended, and graduated from, the Colorado School of Mines with a BS in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering in 1983. He married Susan Young Marshall in Denver, Colorado on May 14, 1983 and had two children, Andrew Marshall, and Leah Marshall.
He worked for Westinghouse Electric in the Naval Nuclear program in Orlando, Florida and in Idaho Falls, Idaho. After moving back to Colorado, he worked at Trident Data Systems, Vitesse Semiconductor, and most recently Oracle Corp. as a Systems Engineer.
Dave was a devoted husband and father, and was always focused on encouraging his family. He was committed to serving God through youth ministry, and later in small group Bible study ministry. He was an active member of Woodmen Valley Chapel. He also loved model railroading, travel, and computer games.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 2:00PM at the Stone Chapel at Woodmen Valley Chapel, 290 East Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919.
