Charles Rodney Smith, Sr.
September 3rd, 1930 - January 20th, 2025
Loving his family and Country, Chuck raised five children with his first wife, Margie. While serving in the Marine Corps, he also worked two other jobs. Upon retiring from the Marines, he owned a hardware store and later a sharpening and screening business with two of his sons. He was a long-time active member of Masons and Shriner organizations. After Margie's death, he was fortunate enough to find and share another marriage with Pam, who sadly preceded him in death. Sons, Roger and Richard, and daughter, Gail, also preceded him in death.
Chuck is survived by his sons Robert and Charles Jr., grandsons Ed and Derek, granddaughters, Melinda, Kristie, and Amanda, and 15 great grandchildren.
