Maxine Mary Strasburg, 78, Fort Atkinson, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Maxine was born on August 17, 1946 in Fort Atkinson to Harline and Coletta (Vogel) Schroeder. She married Kenneth Strasburg on June 11, 1966. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2015. Maxine had a nurturing spirit and raised 3 daughters in addition to the many children that came to her at-home daycare. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children; Pamela Strasburg, Dawn (Chuck) Raasch, and Susie Strasburg; sister Janet (Bryan) Sorenson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; son Kenneth Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1660 Endl Blvd Fort Atkinson, WI 53538. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
