Eileen Gail Eliason, 92, from Rice Lake, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Franciscan Health Center in Duluth. She was born on August 16, 1932, to William and Francis Cutsforth in Chetek, WI. Eileen spent her younger years in Chetek, graduating from Chetek High School. She graduated from Mayville State in North Dakota to go on to teach the elementary ages for a year in a rural school. Eileen married Reuben Eliason on January 2, 1952. They farmed grain on the family farm in Buxton, ND until 1964 when they moved to Wisconsin. Eileen worked and retired from a factory job in the late 70’s. She loved to cook and bake for fundraisers which her family was involved in.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Randy Eliason; and siblings, Russell Cutsforth, Marjean Schauer, Carol Cutsforth and Ellen Laib.

She will be missed by her son, Jerry (Karen) Eliason; sister, Cheryl Cutsforth; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
