Maria Luisa Torres of Haines City, Florida passed away on February 12, 2025, at her daughter’s residence with her family at her bedside. She was 93 years old. She was born on June 25, 1931, to Francisco G. Juarez and Maria Julia Salazar in Vera Cruz, Mexico and moved to Haines City in 1971 from Texas.

Maria was employed in the citrus industry for many years, and she was a good Christian woman.  She enjoyed being outside working in her garden tending to her flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francisco and Maria and survived by her children, Flora Guzman, Maria Elena Richardson, Marta Ann Torres, Jesus Torres, Graciela Mendez, Beatriz Pineda, Jose D. Torres and Enos Torres as well as many grandchildren.

A visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 10 am until the funeral at 11 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Carre, Haines City.
