In Loving Memory

Grace B. Weaver of Columbia, passed away on February 14, 2025. She was 84 years old.

 

She was predeceased by parents Lawrence and Martha Britt; brothers Richard Britt, Lawrence Britt, Jr., James O. Britt, Ernest Britt, Frank Britt; and sister Pauline Britt. 

 

Grace is survived by two children Adrienne Darleen MacMillen, Thomas Weaver, Jr.; brother Carl Britt (Frances); and brother in law, Miles Weaver (Marti). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Michele, Michael, and Matthew, and one great-grandchild, Angel, as well as numerous family members.

 

Grace enjoyed needlework, gardening, and creating flower arrangements. She liked to shop, get her hair and nails done, and cooking for friends and family. She and her husband often enjoyed spending time at the VFW dancing and being in the company of good friends. Grace prided herself in her home and making sure it was decorated and always ready to host friends and family.

 

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

 

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 20th at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 9:30 am, with a visitation at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
