It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Carol Jean Powers. Our loving mother passed away on February 19th in San Diego, California surrounded by her loved ones. Carol was born in Portland Oregon on March 27th, 1949 and lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Carol was predeceased by her brother Randy and grandson Dylan. Carol is survived by her two children, Scott Powers, Jennifer Jenkins (Keith), four grandchildren, one great grandchild and brother Gary. Please join us for a funeral service at Wilhelm Portland Memorial Friday March 10th at 1:00pm. Flowers can be sent directly to funeral home.

At Wilhelm's Portland Memorial, we have a rich history dating back to 1901 when we became the first crematory west of the Mississippi River, known then as The Portland Cremation Association. Our historic chapel, marked by its cornerstone placed on February 5th, 1901, has stood the test of time. Today, our memorial site spans 8 stories, approximately 7 miles of corridors of beautifully preserved architecture, and the largest mausoleum on the west coast, spanning 2.5 city blocks....
