MYRA FUHRER OBITUARY At the age of 91, Myra passed away with family closely by her side. Myra was born to Boyd W Debunce and Virginia Lolita Knepp DeBunce in Astoria, Oregon. Myra was the youngest of three children. She had an older brother, Boyd M Debunce, and a sister Virginia Rose Debunce Imel. When Myra was young her parents divorced and her mother remarried Orville Schults. Myra's father also remarried to Mary Ellen who had another child, Ann DeBunce Duckworth, who was Myra's half sister. Myra met her husband, Walter Robert "Bob" Fuhrer, at age 21 where they married on April 8, 1952 and were married till 2008 where Bob passed away after a battle with Parkinson's Alzheimer's. During their marriage, they welcomed their first child, Deborah Lynn in January 1954 and then Cheryl Ann, in January of 1955. Myra leaves behind her half-sister, Ann, her sister-in-law, Ruth, two daughters, Debra Rouse & Cheryl Diebel, four granddaughters, five great grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild, five nephews, and 4 nieces. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Myra's beautiful 91 years of life at Gresham Memorial Chapel, May 21, 2023 from 11:30-2:00.
