In Loving Memory Of
Lois Marie Briscoe, 93, died peacefully on February 15, 2025 in Palm Bay, Florida. She was born on February 13, 1932 in Bay Shore, New York to Ernest Bernard Clock, Sr. and Charlotte Mae Clock, neé Dennis. Lois was graduated from Bay Shore High School in the Class of 1950, was a paramedic in the Bay Shore-Brightwaters area, and was her daughters' Brownie Troop leader. She worked for most of her life as a legal secretary, most significantly at Donner, Hariton and Berka in Bay Shore, and during her years in Florida at Smith & Schnacke, and Fishback Dominick in Orlando.
She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Ernest Bernard Clock, Jr., and James Arthur Clock, as well as her husband of 65 years, Frank Hayden Briscoe, and her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Sutton and Kathleen Marie Briscoe. She is survived by her son, Frank Thomas Briscoe (Melissa Fontaine) of Atlanta, Georgia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dora and Karim and all the staff at Villa Lea Assisted Living, and to her caregivers from Vitas Hospice.
Friends are invited for a viewing at Ammen Funeral Home at 950 Malabar Rd SE in Palm Bay, Florida on Monday, February 24 from 9:00 am to 11:-00 am. She will be buried with her husband Frank H. Briscoe, a Korean War veteran, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida on Monday, February 24 at 12:30 pm.
