Leah Kay Thompson (Houston), a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, in Saint Paul, Minnesota at the age of 73.
Leah was born on April 2, 1951, to her loving parents Byrdest and Maymie Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and her husband of 26 years.
Leah is survived by her daughters Tiffany Reed and Nackia Boggs, her five bonus children, 18 cherished grandchildren, as well as 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Leah was an active and faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she touched the lives of many with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
Services for Leah will be held on 03/01/2025 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home West-Heights, 235 Wentworth Avenue West, West Saint Paul, MN 55118 with 10AM visitation, 11AM service and a repass to follow.
