Brenda Joyce Harrison, passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 80, in Melbourne, Florida. Brenda was born on February 1, 1945, in Nitro, West Virginia, to Vernon and Dolly Shank. 

She married Douglas Harrison on September 21, 1963.  

Shortly after they started a family. 

 She graduated from Brevard Community College - with her associate degree; to become an interpreter for sign language. She retired from Rockwell Collins.  

They lived in West Melbourne for most of their lives. They had a dream to live on a lake together surrounded by friends, which was cut short by Doug's passing in 2005.  

She then moved back to Melbourne joining Eau Gallie First Baptist Church and becoming involved in her community. She was also able to take trips to places that she never thought possible.  

She enjoyed working in her rose garden, spending time with her church and the occasional hotdog roast with her family and a few of her favorite people. 

She had many fond memories spent with her loved in-laws on trips to West Virginia over the years… it was something she always looked forward too.

She leaves behind three children and their spouses, Debra Cline, Wendy Biles (Carlos), Douglas Harrison Jr. (Julie); Brother, Mike Shank; Five Grandchildren and their spouses Catlin Biles, Anthony Cline, Kevin Evers (Keshia), Kristen Moehler (EJ), Josie Harrison; Five Great Grandchildren, Daylynn Biles, Kylie Moehler, Keegan Evers, Evan Moehler and Khloe Evers.   

She leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews, in-laws, families and friends. 

She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Harrison, her Parents Vernon, and Dolly Shank. Siblings, Rita, Leon, Harvey Shank, Janice Wild and Theresa. And her son-in-law Erick Cline.
