Ronald E. Mesick of Venice, Florida (formally of Feeding Hills, MA) passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025 , two months before his 91st birthday.
Ronnie was born on April 13, 1934 to Ernest and Loretta (Laflamme) Mesick in Springfield, MA .
After graduating from Classical High School, he went on to join the United States Air Force. Upon returning from the Air Force, Ronnie got a job with New England Telephone as a phone equipment installer kickstarting a career in the phone industry. He was offered the golden handshake at the young age of 52 and graciously accepted the offer. After retiring he spent his time doing various part time jobs and spending time with friends and family. Ronnie was married to Priscilla (Anti) Mesick for 30 plus years and upon their separation he chose to move to Venice Florida.
Shortly after moving to Florida, Ronnie met Sheila Vasil who would live out the rest of his days with him as his life partner. He would come back to Agawam every summer for many years to visit with his family and friends.
Ronnie was predeceased by his son Brian, sister Judy, brother Douglas, grandson Alan and foster child Sheila.
He is survived by his brother Thomas and his family, his sons Ernie, Barry, Robert and Tom and his daughters Karen and Crystal and their families. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be private at a later date.
