Linda Lane passed away unexpectedly at her home in Osprey, FL on February 22, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend - known for her warmth, creativity, and grace.

Born on August 28, 1944, in Ontario, CA, Linda was the daughter of Lt. Col. Robert Pasco and Miriam Bishop Pasco. As a child, she lived in Harrow, England, while her father was stationed at South Ruislip Air Station near London. It was there that she developed a charming British accent, much to the delight of her mother. She later spent her teenage years in Novato, CA where she was awarded the Betty Crocker Homemaker Award, a nod to her early talents and dedication to family. Linda's true passion was always in the arts. She had an artist's soul - expressing herself through painting, sewing, and crafting - bringing beauty into the lives of those around her.

Linda met the love of her life, Brian Russell Lane, while attending Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She graduated in 1964, and they were married soon after in 1965, spending 60 wonderful years together and sharing many adventures, laughter, and a deep abiding friendship. They built a family, raising their two children, Karen and Jeff, while moving across New England for Brian's career with New England Telephone Co. In 1975, they settled in Scituate, MA, where Linda embraced her role as a full-time mom while also enjoying golf, tennis, and her many artistic hobbies. She and Brian became longtime members of Hatherly Country Club, where they made lifelong friends.

In 1985, Brian's career took them to Darien, CT where Linda immersed herself in the vibrant culture of New York City, delighting in Broadway shows, fine dining, and frequent travels. A decade later, they returned to Scituate before eventually making their home in Osprey, FL, where they became active members of The Oaks Club. For 31 years, Linda enjoyed golf, tennis, and bridge, forming close friendships and always bringing her signature warmth and sense of humor to every gathering.

Throughout her life, Linda found joy in traveling the world with Brian, relaxing on cruises, exploring new places, and making lasting memories. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always offering love, encouragement, and a listening ear. Her gentle soul, artistic spirit, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
