Pamela Roth

Pamela Miles Roth, 72, of Auburndale, Florida, passed away on February 28, 2025. She was born on August 9, 1952, at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia, to Wade and Rosetta (Nave) Miles.

Before relocating to Florida, Pam resided in Crown Point, Indiana, with her husband, Peter, married September 1978, and their two children, Erin and Jeffrey. As a registered nurse of 40 plus years, she touched the lives of countless patients and left an indelible mark on the hearts of her colleagues. Additionally, Pam’s dedication to community service led her to campaign door-to-door for the Crown Point City Council, where she served two terms.

Pam had many hobbies, but what most may remember is her love for travel, reading, and gardening. Her favorite week every year was her annual girls’ trip to Little Gasparilla Island, where she and friends went to relax, read, and reset. After retiring, Pam and Pete frequently traveled, enjoyed their gym family, book club ladies, and even actively volunteered for many organizations in/around central Florida.  All throughout her adult life, she found peace in her garden and was most recently known for her “Orchid Alley” at their Auburndale home.

Her true love was her family. Every action, thought, and decision was for their benefit. There was never a day when her husband or children needed anything—Pam made it happen, no matter what. As her family grew, so did her heart. Pam had many nicknames, but her most cherished was that of 'Mimi', affectionately given to her from her four pride and joys, her grandchildren. 

Pam is survived by her husband, Peter; daughter, Erin (Jaime Reynolds); son, Jeffrey (Joe Martinez); sister, Debbie (Desi Groover); and four grandchildren: Reese, Jaxon, Jase, and Reagan Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elaine; and brother, Wade.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7, 10:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W Havendale Blvd, Winter Haven, FL 33881. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pamela’s memory to the Women’s Resource Center in Winter Haven, FL.
