Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home
Albert F. Wolf
June 5th, 1933 - March 5th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert F. Wolf, who passed away on March 5th, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Hillsview, South Dakota, on June 5th, 1933, to Martin and Adelheid Wolf, Albert was raised in Mt. Angel and Lake Oswego Oregon, where he graduated from Central Catholic High School in Portland in 1951.
Albert’s life was marked by love, faith, and service. In 1954, he married Alcyene R. Wolf, the love of his life, whom he met while working together. Together, they built a beautiful family, and Albert was a devoted father to Lori Pyzik, Craig Wolf, Martin Wolf, Jeff Wolf, and Neil Wolf. His role as a father was one of his greatest joys, and he always strived to be a strong and providing presence in the lives of his children.
A dedicated Catholic, Albert was an active member of Christ the King Parish in Milwaukie, Oregon, where he gave his time to the church, Meals on Wheels, and St. Vincent DePaul. He had a generous spirit, sponsoring many children in Guatemala, and always sought ways to help those in need.
Albert worked as a purchasing agent for F.E. Bennett Company and was well known for his devoted work ethic and jovial sense of humor. In social settings, he loved to make people laugh, and his kindness was felt by all who knew him. He enjoyed square dancing, traveling, and playing cards, but it was his family and friends who meant the most to him. His dedication to his loved ones, his Catholic faith, and his community will be his lasting legacy.
Albert is survived by his children, Lori Pyzik, Craig (Kristy), Martin, Jeff, and Neil (Audri), and grandchildren, Sara Wolf, Danielle Wolf, Noah Wolf, Nicholas Wolf, Madison Wolf, and Mia Wolf.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Adelheid Wolf of whom had eleven children, and his beloved wife, Alcyene. He will be remembered as a man of great character, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Parish in Milwaukie on March 14th, 2025, at 10:30 AM, with a Rosary starting at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Monarch Hotel (Columbia Room) in Clackamas at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Unbound in his memory.
May Albert’s soul rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the many memories of a life well-lived.

Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home
At Wilhelm's Portland Memorial, we have a rich history dating back to 1901 when we became the first crematory west of the Mississippi River, known then as The Portland Cremation Association. Our historic chapel, marked by its cornerstone placed on February 5th, 1901, has stood the test of time. Today, our memorial site spans 8 stories, approximately 7 miles of corridors of beautifully preserved architecture, and the largest mausoleum on the west coast, spanning 2.5 city blocks....
