Judith Grace Janis
June 18th, 1948 - March 4th, 2025
Judith Grace Janis passed away at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Tuesday, March 4th at the age of 76.
Judith is preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her daughter Greer. Judith is lovingly remembered by her three sons; Christopher, Michael, and Jonathan and their families.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 18, 1948. Judith was the oldest of three daughters; adopting the role of mothering caregiver early on and for the rest of her life. While her occupation was nurse, she often said the "job" of wife and mother was her greatest purpose. As matriach to an Army family, Judith had the gift of making each new military assignment feel like home from Panama to Alabama, Germany to Georgia, with plenty of posts inbetween. Her attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and boundless love buoyed her four children and husband throughout.
A competitive Scrabble opponent, avid reader, and dog lover Judith was well known for her devotion to family and servant's heart.
