Leroy Edwin Soderbloom, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his house on March 12th, 2025 at 4:08 pm with his three children present, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born in Denver on June 6, 1932, Leroy lived a life filled with purpose, devotion, and joy, remaining in Denver his entire life.

Leroy proudly served in the United States Air Force as a radio operator during the Korean War, stationed in Guam. He further served at Lowry and Keesler AFB's, where he developed a strong sense of duty and camaraderie.  He served for four years and was honorably discharged on September 10, 1954, and carried the values of service and commitment throughout his life.

On February 14, 1954, Leroy married the love of his life, Pearl Lee Soderbloom. Their 58 years of marriage were marked by love, mutual respect, and countless shared adventures all over the world. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home for their three children: Sharon, Debra and Paul, who were the pride and joy of their lives. Pearl passed away on November 21st, 2012.

Leroy was a devoted father and an adoring grandfather to seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He took immense joy in watching his family grow, often sharing stories, laughter, and wisdom that will be treasured for generations to come.

He worked at Eastman Kodak processing microfilm for 30 years, retiring as a Senior Manager. He then started BCS Micro Graphics to continue with his career. Family and friends were employees there helping out in a tremendous way for the business to succeed for 8 years.

A man of many passions, Leroy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fan of Denver Broncos Football, Rockies Baseball and Nuggets Basketball, where he could often be found cheering for his teams with infectious enthusiasm as he watched.

His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies of fishing, hunting and camping, where he created lasting memories with family and friends. Leroy also had a talent for working on vehicles, taking pride in maintaining them and sharing his knowledge with his children and grandchildren! Leroy’s warmth, kindness, and sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and valued, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Paul, his two daughters, Sharon and Debra, his five  grandchildren,  and his eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two granddaughters, and one great granddaughter. Leroy will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his unwavering love, dedication, humor and the joy he brought to those around him.

A Military Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on April 3rd, 2025 at 1:30 pm, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory. A Celebration of Leroy's life will follow at Dixie's House at 4547 S. Wolf St., Denver, CO 80236, where friends and family can reflect and share stories of the remarkable man he was.

Rest in peace, Leroy. Your legacy of love will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
