Steve Marshall, 75, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Holopaw, Florida. Born on December 16, 1949, in Orlando, Florida, Steve was a proud native Floridian and Vietnam veteran, having served from November 20, 1969, to August 20, 1971. Growing up in Jacksonville, he developed a love for music, trucks, classic muscle cars, and surfing, with his favorite spots being Indialantic Beach and Melbourne Beach. Steve's passion for fishing was matched only by his ability to build almost anything, showcasing his resourcefulness and creativity. In his later years, he found joy in the simplicity of country living, often sitting by a fire and soaking in the peaceful sounds of nature.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Pauline “Polly” Downing; stepfather, Ralph R. Downing; father, Elmer Damon Marshall; and stepmother, Lois Evelyn Marshall.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Melba J. (Gibson) Marshall, whom he married on September 30, 1978. He also leaves behind his two brothers: Jeffrey Lee Burford (partner: Susanne Coupe), and Edward Senkus.

Steve was a devoted father to his three sons and their families: Michael Marshall (wife: Joanna Marshall), Jeffrey Marshall (wife: Kathy Marshall), and Ralph Marshall (partner: Norma Martinez).

 He was also a proud Papa to his grandchildren, Jordan Gabriel and Violet Skye Marshall.
