Gary "Steve" Stephen Vincent
July 22nd, 1945 - March 29th, 2025
Gary Stephen Vincent "Steve" 79, of (Ocala), passed away on March 29th, 2025, in Ocala. Steve was born Charleston South Carolina to Winthrop and Eulala Vincent on July 22nd, 1945. He went to high school at Manatee High School Bradenton, Florida. He graduated from (Nova University with Bachelors of Science in Criminology 1979). He married Jeanne Louise Dryden on August 1, 1964, in Winter Park Florida. He worked as a Florida State Trooper for Florida Highway Patrol for 44 years. He received many promotions and commendations for is dedicated service to the patrol. He was involved in the Masonic Lodge Marion Dunn, Shiners, First Presbyterian Church Elder & Deacon, and the Florida Association of retired State Troopers). Steve enjoyed going to church and Sunday school, going out to eat, and spending time with his family. Steve is preceded in death by his father and mother, Winthrop and Eulala Vincent and his brother Winthrop "Sandy" Vincent. (Steve) is survived by (list all survivors, 1st: wife Jeanne Vincent, 2 nd: Children Stephen C. Vincent, Deborah J Vincent, Bryan C Vincent, 3 rd : Brother David Vincent (Sara Jane), 4 th :Parents-none 5 th : Grandchildren Zachary T Welch (Kayla), Shelby McNeill (Dillon) Jacob Vincent and 6th: Great-Grandchildren, Eden Smith 12, Elijah Welch 11, Weston Welch 10, Harper Welch 6, Paisley McNeill 6, and Lillie McNeill 1. 7th: many cousins, nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church Ocala with the Reverend Kenny Ellis of First Presbyterian, officiating with a reception following at the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church Ocala. The family of Steve wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of our family, friends, colleagues, and all of the members of First Presbyterian that have been guiding us though this transition
