In Loving Memory Of
Leonard L. Fallen, lovingly known as Len, passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Greenville, Mississippi, on November 29, 1937, Len lived a rich and fulfilling life surrounded by his family, friends and passions.
Len leaves behind a loving legacy, including his three sons: Melvin (Elizabeth), Louis (Kelly), and Jack. He was cherished by his seven grandchildren Bailey, Jessi (Ontario), Sarah (Devin), Riley, Duncan, Molly and Maggie as well as his two great-grandchildren, Maya and Zoey. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters, Theresa Ann and Betty (Al), and his uncle George (Lynn). He is proceeded in death by his daughter Mary Katherine.
Growing up in Greenville, Len attended St. Joseph High School before earning his degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Throughout his life, Len pursued various professions, finally settling in Melbourne, Florida, where he worked as a carpenter and salesman. His work ethic and adaptability left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Len's greatest joy was his music. He was a gifted vocalist. He performed with the Melbourne
Municipal Band, Swing Time Band, Rock and Roll Review, Swing Time Lite, Eau Gallie Dixie Land Band and in countless jazz performances. Whenever there was a microphone, Len would be there, sharing his passion with the world. When his singing days ended, Len found solace in his love of plants, especially bonsai. This quiet hobby brought him immense peace and pleasure.
Beyond his musical talents, Len was also a dedicated martial anist earning the rank of 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo. His discipline and perseverance in the art exemplified his lifelong commitment to growth and mastery
Len's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the pursuit of joy in all its forms. He will be remembered not only for his incredible voice but also for the kindness, creativity, and warmth he brought into every room he entered. He will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
