Mark Silver, 69, of Davenport, FL, passed away on April 4, 2025, at Advent Health Heart of Florida in Davenport. Born on February 26, 1956, in New Britain, CT, Mark lived a full and vibrant life.
Mark dedicated many years of his career to Hav-A-Tampa Cigars in Tampa before retiring. An avid golfer, he found joy on the fairways and cherished traveling the world with his beloved wife of 42 years, Susan. His love for exploration often led him to the open seas, with a recent highlight being a transcontinental cruise from Spain.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; his son, Christopher Silver of Lake Wales, FL; his daughter, Courtney Tampas of Carrollton, VA; and his two brothers, David Silver and wife Janene of St. Petersburg, FL, and Gary Silver and wife Jane Marie of Philadelphia, PA. Mark’s warmth and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mark’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
