Kay Jean Johnson, 63, of Floodwood, MN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 7, 2025, at her home. A gathering will take place on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 1-3pm at Mainline Station at 122 W. 7th Ave in Floodwood, MN.
Kay was born November 25, 1961, in Duluth, MN, to Ronald and Patricia Lanhart, Kay would be the eldest of six children.
Kay graduated from Albrook high school in 1980, located in Saginaw, MN. She married Melvin LeRoy Johnson farmed and enjoyed life. They enjoyed the fruits of their labor with gardening, and making jams and jellies.
She enjoyed people in all facets through her work at Mainline Station.
She leaves behind her husband Melvin Johnson; sister, Lyn Budisalovich; brother, Jack (Tina) Lanhart; other relatives and many friends.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shelley Blaylock, Rony Dea Baker, and Joy Pagona.
