Esther Cruz, 96 years of life, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by family. 

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Esmilta, Liduvina, and son Henry.

Esther arrived from Havana, Cuba with mother and 2 sisters on August 1, 1939 to Ellis Island, New York. Not speaking any English, Esther finished high school at Sarah J. Hale in New York and 2 years College in New York.

Esther married her life partner Henry. Married 71 years until death of Henry on 2022. Out of this wonderful union were born 4 children; Henry “Ricky” (Jackie), Elena (Sam), Leticia (Gregory) and Roberto (Emily). Their parenting led all of their children to finish college and become experts in their professions.

Esther loved her family, leaving sister, Linda Cruz; grandchildren, Orlando Payne, Katrina Hunter, Christine Cruz, Sammy Hunter, Owen Betharte, Richie Perez, Christopher Cruz, Allyssa Goussa, Michael Cruz and Brian Cruz and 11 great-grandchildren. Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Esther was baptized loving Jesus Christ, on Easter Sunday of 2024. She was kindhearted, soft spoken and angel of God.

Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care 950 Malabar Rd. SE., Palm Bay, FL 32907.

Graveside at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754 at 2:00 P.M.
