Elizabeth Sisco Skoldal
September 25th, 1932 - April 11th, 2025
Elizabeth J. Sisco Skoldal, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at Liberty Ridge Health and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 44 years, Richard Walter Sisco and her second husband, Harold Skoldal, Jr. of six years.
Born September 25, 1932, in Franklin, NJ, she was the fourth of eleven children of the late Ivan Viletus Aumick and Mary McCourt Aumick. She was also preceded in death by six of her siblings. She retired to Lynchburg in the early nineties and was an active member of Timberlake Church for nearly thirty years.
She was the loving mother of three daughters, Brenda Young (Ron), Susan Sykes (Paul) and Nancy Sisco. She was also the loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was past president and member of Mended Hearts. Additionally, she was a volunteer at the hospital and involved with the local “Walk to Emmaus” in the early nineties.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastor Joe Elmore officiating. Entombment will be in the Timberlake Church Columbarium.
