Aldine Elizabeth Vos
February 2nd, 1930 - April 13th, 2025
Aldine E. (Betty) Vos
Born to David and Alice Brostrom on the North Dakota prairie in 1930, Betty passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025. Despite growing up during the Depression, Betty led a life filled with love and kindness. Betty and her husband of 70 years, Richard D. "Dick" Vos, shared a remarkable journey together, living in North Dakota, Illinois, Kansas, and Arizona. She supported Dick in his education and their successful accounting practice, and together they cherished deep and meaningful relationships with their friends and clients throughout their lives. Betty had a fun-loving and generous spirit which she shared with family and friends.
She leaves behind her children, Mike (Cheryl) and Allyson, her grandchildren, Rich (Amy) and Elly, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Max and Emme, along with many nieces and nephews. The family is especially grateful to the friends, neighbors, caregivers, and relatives whose kindness and support during Betty’s final days reflected the love she shared throughout her life.
Memorial donations may be made to Sunshine Acres Children's Home (https://sunshineacres.org/donate) or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Betty will be inurned with her beloved husband at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at a later date.
