In Loving Memory of Jorge Armando Vergara Bello

Jorge Armando Vergara Bello, also affectionately known as “Chino” passed away on April 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 61 years old. He was born on April 15, 1964, in Petlalcingo, Mexico to Manuel Vergara Sanchez and Maria Teresa Bello Villalba, he was 1 of 10 children.

As Chino grew up from his childhood until his early 20’s, he was a butcher, following in his family's tradition. Jorge and his family moved to Polk County, Florida in 1994 from New Jersey and from the age of 25 – 60 he worked as a cook here in America. Some of his interests and loves, were God, family, soccer, Coca Cola and doughnuts, as you can see, he had a sweet tooth.

Jorge will forever be remembered as a faithful son, excellent brother, great husband, and wonderful Pa. He was predeceased by his father, Manuel and his wife, Cindy Vergara. Jorge is survived by his mother, Maria Teresa of Mexico and his son, Raphael Vergara and his wife, Gabby.

A visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City and a graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at Oak Hill Burial Park 4620 US Hwy 98 S, Lakeland, FL 33812
