Samuel Rene Samaniego
September 5th, 2003 - April 15th, 2025
Samuel Rene Samaniego, 21 years old went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2025. Sammy made his grand entrance into the world on September 5, 2003 in Denver, Colorado. Son to Rene Samaniego Jr and Chasity Torrez. Sam was a passionate young man, kind, and caring with such a big heart, filled with generosity. He charmed us all with his big eyes and long luscious eyelashes. Sam was a funny, goofy, jokester, who also had a tender heart for his loved ones. Sam participated in several sports growing up, wrestling, baseball, basketball and football. Although basketball was his favorite. Sam also loved watching sports, like the Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets as well as a few other NBA sports teams. He enjoyed attending those kinds of sports events with his mom. Sam was a dedicated hard worker, as a young kid he began working by mowing lawns throughout the neighborhood. Later he found other work such as being a referee at the YMCA and stocking shelves at Target. Sam also discovered hard work by canvassing for a roofing company, but moved on to becoming a security officer supervisor for a nearby hospital. Not wanting to feel complacent in his role, he desired a new opportunity to grow. So, he sought out for school of trade within the truck driving industry because he loves to drive. Sam loved gathering with family and friends, whether it was to eat or just hang out. If you knew Sam, you knew that he loved food and boy did my son love to eat, he was a foodie. He also loved listening to music and found great joy dancing, waving his hands in the air. Sam is proceeded in death by his Grandfather Rene Samaniego Sr, Grandmother Lorraine Neiman, Great Grandmother Bessie Leal, and Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother John and Josephine Torrez. He is survived by his Mother Chasity Torrez, his Father Rene Samaniego Jr (Vanessa Lopez), Girlfriend Shawndra Cabrera, Siblings Aleana and Alex Samaniego, and Sophia and John (JJ) Montoya III, Maternal Grandparents Rose and John Lucero, Maternal Grandparents John and Patricia Torrez, Paternal Grandmother Frances Valdez. He is also survived by numerous Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Sam will be forever remembered by his long eyelashes, distinct laugh and big bright smile.
