Martha Lee Plageman

Martha Lee Plageman (née Mueller) died on 11 April 2025 in Venice, Florida. She was an accomplished fiber artist with a passion for quilting and embroidery. Her many gifts of quilts to family, friends and charities are a vibrant testament to her love of the art. She was born in Convington, KY on 11 March, 1939 to Albert and Martha Mueller.
Marty was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, after 62 years of marriage. She is survived by 5 children, Joseph Plageman, Jr (Paula), Michelle Plageman Bradley (David), David Plageman (Tina), Richard Plageman (Suzanne) and John Plageman (Cheryl); 8 grandchildren, Jessica Kline, Jason Plageman, Marc Plageman, Scott Plageman, Jack Plageman, Elizabeth Plageman, Rachel Plageman and William Plageman, and 6 great grandchildren. Surviving Sisters are Joan Vetter and Alice Menne. She was predeceased by her brothers Ray Mueller and David Mueller and her sister Mary Mueller-Slough.
Marty was a long-time, committed supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family asks that you consider a donation to St. Jude's in honor of Marty.
She will be deeply missed.
