Angelina Ramona Vasquez, lovingly known to her family and friends as Angie, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born on June 12, 1957, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, Angelina was the daughter of Arthur Chavez and Delores Garduno. She grew up in a large and loving family, one of twelve siblings—five of whom survive her today.

Angelina was the proud and devoted mother of five children: Deanna, Raynette, Crystal, Alfredo, and Misty. Her love and strength carried through to her 21 grandchildren, with one, Alfredo, who preceded her in death and now rests in God’s care. Her legacy continues through her 20 great-grandchildren, with two more blessings on the way.

Angelina will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and her strength through life’s many seasons. Her presence brought comfort, her laugh brought joy, and her love brought unity. She leaves behind memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

Services to celebrate her life will be announced by the family.
