Frances R. Sellers, 85, of Davenport, FL, passed away on May 6, 2025, at AdventHealth Heart of Florida. She was born on December 25, 1939, in Wakata, Washington, to the late A.J. and Dora Tindle Duncan. In 1960, Frances moved to Florida from Wakata and made her home in Winter Haven before later settling in Davenport. She was a devoted homemaker and a faithful member of the Church of God in Winter Haven, Florida. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to her family, her faith, and creating a warm, loving home.

Frances found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed watching tennis on television and working on word search puzzles. Known for her vibrant personality, she was bubbly, friendly, and could strike up a conversation with anyone she met. Her warmth and sociability left a lasting impression on those around her. Frances also had a deep affection for her beloved big cat, "Tom," who was never far from her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Dora Duncan; her sister-in-law, Judy Duncan; and brothers-in-law, Moris Bauer, Joe Mitchell, Tim McKnight, Don Pangle, and Odel Ushery. Frances is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Jimmy L. Sellers Sr.; her son, Jimmy L. Sellers Jr and his wife, Renee, of Ocala, FL; her daughter, Sheila R. Vorhoff and her husband, Charles, of Tennessee; and her siblings, Elvida Bauer, Florence Mitchell, Phaylene McKnight, Mary Pangle, and Betty Jo Ushery. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren—Christina, Nikki, Whitney, and Jacob—as well as several great-grandchildren. Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
