Nancy Jane Angove
Born May 15, 1940 in Bowie,Texas to O. Florine Ramsdale (Wright) and John H Angove, Sr.; passed away at her home in Marina, Ca on Friday, April 25th, 2025 at the age of 84.
She graduated from East Bakersfield High School and studied at Sacramento State University before she began her career with Pacific Bell Telephone Company. Nancy retired from Pacific Bell in 1988 as an Operator Services Manager after 24+ years of service. She enjoyed camping, fishing, walks on the beach, snuggling her pets and she loved a competitive evening of board games, dominoes and cards with family and friends.
Nancy was a strong supporter of Environmental Conservation and was a member of the Monterey Bay Aquarium for many years. She supported St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the SPCA for Monterey County and several non-profit organizations supporting women.
Nancy will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will hold a private Memorial service at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey, CA on Friday, June 6th, 2025.
