                                In Loving Memory of Della Marie Edwards

 Della Marie Edwards, 83, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, in Longmont, CO. Born on November 23, 1941, in San Diego, CA, to Roy and Marie McCauley, Della grew up with a strong sense of adventure and adaptability. Her father never liked to stay in one place for long, so the family moved from California to several locations in Texas, where they grew cotton and raised chickens at times.

She graduated from Kress High School in Texas before settling in Colorado, where she would build her life and remain for many years.

Della is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Norman Edwards, her beloved children Chris Edwards, Cory Edwards, Cathy Duran (Rick Duran), and Craig Edwards (Amber Edwards). She was a proud grandmother to Alyssa Cropp (Ethan Cropp), Alex Duran, Jacob Edwards, and Katie Edwards, and a cherished great-grandmother to Elizabeth Cropp.

She had a passion for reading, sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting, always immersed in creative projects. Her faith was an essential part of her life, and she found great joy in attending church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Marie McCauley; her sister, Donna Wise; her children, Ricky Wise and Lori Wise; and her brother-in-law, Jamie Carlisle.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on May 15, 2025, at Rocky Mountain Christian Church, 9447 Niwot Road, Niwot, CO 80503.

Della will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for family will continue to inspire and live on in the hearts of those she touched.
