Aaron Bertus Linger, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on May 8, 2025 at home in Palm Bay, Florida. Aaron was born August 13, 1942 to his parents, Wirt and Cleva Linger. He was born in Burnsville, West Virginia and moved to Palm Bay in the 1960's. 

Aaron was a journeyman electrician who worked on jobs at Disney World, Epcot, Universal, and the Hilton Hotel at the Orlando Airport. He also worked on the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center. He was a member of the IBEW Local 606 Electricians Union. He retired in 2010.

From an early age, he liked working on cars with his dad and worked on his first engine at 7. From there on he had a love for racing and he and his beloved brother, Richard, raced cars at the old Eau Gallie Speedway. He loved tinkering in his garage and was always working on a new project. His grandsons even got him a sign saying, "If Grandpa can't fix it no one can."  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wirt and Cleva Linger, and his beloved brother, Richard. 

He is survived by his loving family, Rhonda, his wife of 39 years, his daughters, Leslie Delisa (Dino), Tracy Bancroft (Shawn), Kristi Rice (Mike), Megan Kennard (Justin), and Amee Sheldon (James), 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. 

He will greatly be missed by all who loved him. He has gone away, but in our hearts he will always stay.
