Charles Jerome Hall, 80, of Dundee, FL passed away on May 14, 2025 at Winter Haven Hospital. Born on July 6, 1944, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Charles was the son of the late Charles Victor and Euna Rean Hall. A lifelong resident of the area, he spent most of his working years as a warehouse supervisor and he was of the Baptist faith.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and window shopping. In his younger days, he played the trumpet in the Haines City High School band and was often found dancing the night away at Club 92. Known for his favorite phrases — “Oh well” and “My get up and go, got up and went” — Charles was remembered for his stubborn streak and the endearing hard-headedness that those who loved him came to expect and cherish.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Victor Hall and Euna Rean Richardson; sister, Brenda Richardson Edwards; and two beloved grandchildren, Shyann Hall and Lee Hidle. Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Shane Hall and wife, Sabrina of Winter Haven, FL; daughter, Sandi Thomas and husband, Frankie of Lakeland, FL; brother, Steven Richardson of Florala, AL; five grandchildren, Brandon, Shayleigh, Jaxon, Spencer, and Ryan; and nine great grandson, Oakley, Liam, Waylon, Caleb, Aiden, Colt, Trent, Logan and Marley.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
