In Loving Memory of Brenda Harper
January 5th, 1962 – May 4th, 2025
Brenda Harper, age 63, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2025 in Chandler, Arizona, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family as she took her final breath.
Born on January 5th, 1962, in Flint, Michigan, Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and the deep love she held for her family.
Brenda spent over 30 years in the car manufacturing industry, beginning at General Motors and ending at Mitsubishi, followed by roles at Jackson Hewitt and JPMorgan Chase. She also earned her Associate Degree from Lincoln College and took great pride in her professional and personal accomplishments. Her work ethic, kindness, and grace left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughters, Brittany Weekley and Brandy Stith; her granddaughters, Sa’Layah Stith-Davis and Sa’Niyah Burnett-Stith—and a third grandchild on the way, whose arrival she greatly anticipated; her mother, Lula Mae Williams; her sisters, LeAnna Coleman, Elaine Steele, Cherrie Arnold, and Sherrie Eason; and her cherished brother-in-law, Derek Stith. She is also remembered fondly by a large circle of extended relatives and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Harper Jr.; her husband, Ronald Stith; her brothers, Andrew Steel and Ernest Harper; mother-in-law, Demple Stith; father-in-law, George Stith; brother-in-law, Tony Stith; and her favorite and beloved dog, Blade Stith; along with several dear aunts and uncles who welcomed her with open arms on the other side.
Brenda loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, laughing, and enjoying life to the fullest. She had a beautiful spirit that lit up every room she entered—her radiant smile and kind aura will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held in Chandler, Arizona. Details will be shared with family and friends.
