A Loving Mom, Nana, Sister, Tia and Friend

It’s with deep sadness and so much love that we share the passing of Shelly, who left us on May 18, 2025. She was a devoted Mother, a proud Nana, a loving Sister, caring Tia and Friend to so many. To know her was to be loved by her.

She loved being a Mother to: Chloe, Nikki and Sage (Alyssa).  

And a Nana to: Gabe, Delilah, Lacey, Robby, Aubree, Sophia, Mila, Capri and Ember.

Shelly had a heart big enough to hold everyone. She loved unconditionally—no matter what—and made everyone feel welcome, seen, and special. Her hugs were healing, her laugh was contagious, and her advice (even when you didn’t want it) always came from a place of love.

Family meant everything to her. She showed up for every birthday, every game, every hard moment, and every celebration. Her grandkids were her pride and joy, and she made each one feel like they were the center of her world.

She was also the one you called when you needed to vent, needed a laugh, or just needed to feel a little less alone. She had a way of turning an ordinary moment into something warm and memorable.

We’ll be gathering to celebrate her beautiful life on May 29, 2025, at Meldrum Mortuary. Everyone who loved her is welcome—she would’ve wanted all her people together, sharing stories and love.

She gave us all so much. We’ll miss her every single day, but her love will stay with us always.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00am-11:00am am followed by a memorial service on Thursday, May 29, 2025, Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa.  Burial will follow at Mesa City Cemetery. The family will announce a celebration and location for friends following the burial.
