Julius F. Moody died peacefully on May 14, 2025 at his home in Melbourne, Florida He was 95 years old. His daughter, Pam Weber, was with him when he passed. The U.S. Veterans came to the house and placed a flag over Julius’ body following his death.

Julius was born to Jesse and Elba Moody in Mobile, Alabama on March 17, 1930. He graduated from Murphy High School, then joined the Air Force and served in the Korean War.

He moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1966, where he worked as supervisor of the Freight Traffic Section at Patrick Air Force base until he retired from the government in 1988. He then went to work for Raytheon, and retired in 1999.

Julius loved and served his Lord and his church, River Run Christian Church (formerly Eau Gallie Christian), where he served as an Elder for many years. His greatest passion was his family and college football, particularly the Alabama Crimson Tide. He could sit down with a stranger and talk for hours. He was always giving glory to God for the blessings in his life, and he was a kind, gentle and loving man.

Julius is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Cora Jane Carter Moody (Jane), his daughter Pamela Weber (Jerry), and daughter, Catherine (Cathy) Evans, as well as ten grandchildren. Alyssa Weber, Zachary Moody (Jillian), Courtney (Brad) Streta, Jesse Moody (Katie), Jaden (Whitney) Moody, Ashlyn Moody Clark (Keaton), Ryan Evans, Kelsey Evans Burrell, Kayla Evans and Brooke Evans (JJ). He is also survived by five great grandchildren, beloved Colton Weber, Otis Evans, Evelyn Joy Streta (Evie). Mariah Moody and Esther Moody.

Julius was preceded in death by his parents, his brother B.J Harrington, his brother Thomas R. Moody and his son Jeff Moody.

A celebration of life service will be held at River Run Christian Church at a later date to be announced.
