Robert Dean Castaneda (67) Born August 30, 1957. To Robert Marquez Castaneda and (back then) Virginia Marcella Espinoza. Robert was survived by his two children. His oldest, and only son Rudy Martinez (Jamie), his only daughter Danielle Castaneda, and son in law Isaac Maldonado. (Bobby) leaves behind three beautiful, and very loving grandchildren. Suki Martinez, Dantez Espinoza, and Dezirae Espinoza. He was the oldest of five siblings shared between Robert (Cass) and Virginia. Bobby was a devoted Ironworker (retired), A loving father, A very loving grandpa, and an all around compassionate and giving person.  As an Ironworker, which is where he spent 40 years of his career. He took so much pride in the buildings he helped put together, had gratification, and dignity being from an era of hard work. The structures he was a part of developing during his glory days are right here in Colorado, some out in Kansas, and all the way out to California. He was a part of The Wind Turbines, and helped introduce wind energy to the United States. Worked on the buildings out at The Denver International Airport, Helped with the upbringing of Coors Field, and had a hand in one of the largest buildings West of the Mississippi. In his very own words. He finally "left this planet." out of pain, and found by his Daughter and Son in law. May 12, 2025. They lay Robert D. Castaneda to rest at Romero Funeral Home on Tejon June 11, 2025 @1 pm
