With heavy hearts we share the passing of Jewel Anne Thompson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Jewel was born in Spokane, Washington, to William "Frank" and Grace Caffrey. She graduated from Marycliff High School in 1964 and went on to build a beautiful life raising 8 children and settling with her family in Cave Creek, Arizona.
Jewel was a quiet force of grace and strength, known for her warmth, wisdom and unwavering love. She is preceded in death by her son John Andrew, grandson Anthony James, and siblings Dennis, Edward, and Mary Lou.
She is survived by her loving husband Rex, her sister Sheila, her children: Hallie, Jason, Joseph, Mary, Annie, Michael, and James, stepdaughters Tammy and Diana, and ten grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Jewel's legacy of love lives on in each of us and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
