William "Bill" Howell Crank
William “Bill” Howell Crank, 95, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Patricia Cunningham Crank.
Born April 6, 1930, in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Otis Lee Crank and Ruth Howell Crank. He was also preceded in death by a brother Otis Crank and a sister, Mae Crank Kelley. Bill attended Winfall Baptist Church and was the owner of many rental properties. He honorably served our country in the United Staes Navy.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by a sister, Frances Marshall, of Lynchburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bill requested that there be no services.
