Darlene Novakoski

Darlene Novakoski, 67, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on June 10th, 2025. Born in Tampa, Florida to Robert and Elena Novakoski.  

Darlene attended Jefferson High School. She loved being around her children and grandchildren. She liked playing games and spending time with her dog, Bella. Darlene accepted Jesus as her Savior at an early age but was recently baptized on April 27, 2025. She had several health challenges for many years. She was in the hospital and on June 9 asked to be transferred to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. She passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her and one of her nephews holding her hand when she took her last breath.  

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elena. She is survived by her sons, Keith (Esther) Alexander, Christopher (Natasha) Baird, stepson, Gary (Stacey) McPeek; grandchildren, Caleb Alexander, Kevin Alexander, Keith Alexander Jr., Yvonne Soto, Josh Pridgen, Shawn McPeek, Amber McPeek; great-grandchildren, Amelia Alexander; siblings, Doris (Tim) Novakoski Cox, Robert (Valerie) Novakoski. Darlene will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

There will be a private family ceremony to celebrate her life.
