Roberta "Bobbie" Ann Manning
May 6th, 1934 - June 11th, 2025
Roberta Ann “Bobbie” Manning of Venice, Florida and formerly of Newton, New Jersey passed away on June 11, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey. She spent most of her life in New Jersey. She was a secretary for multiple firms but most recently before retirement the ARC in Newton, NJ before retiring in 1985 with the move to Florida. Bobbie volunteered with Venice Hospital in several capacities most recently at the Elephants Trunk Thrift Store. She played golf at Venice East from the late 80’s through 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Karin Lee Manning-Rogers of Grovetown, GA; two grandchildren, Kenneth (Kathleen) Manning of Venice, FL, Samantha Moore of Sumter, SC; six great-grandchildren, Sean A. Moore of California, Aaliyah M. Moore of Sumter, SC, Saniyah A. Richardson of Sumter, SC, Jacob J. Manning of Venice, FL, Abigail C. Manning of Venice, FL and Andrew T. Moore of Sumter, SC.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her spouse, Kenneth Douglas Manning in 2012, her son, Thomas Jay Manning in 1996 and her granddaughter, Karina J. Moore in 2009.
A visitation will be held at Christ Venice Church, 1475 Center Road in Venice on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:00AM with the funeral service to immediately follow.
