Margaret Ann Neff
February 6th, 1943 - June 15th, 2025
Margaret (Maggie) Ann Neff (82) passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born February 6, 1943 in Augusta, Georgia to Garvin Edgar Howard and Carrie Leona Cushman Howard. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many church callings and especially enjoyed serving in the Columbia SC Temple and Bishops Storehouse.
Maggie was loved by everyone who knew her and was a light to so many people. She was an avid reader and loved teaching others. Known for her kindness, warmth and boundless love, Maggie brought joy wherever she went. Her giving spirit and unwavering devotion to family and friends will be remembered always. She devoted her life to taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Maggie leaves behind a son, Scott Neff (Mandy) and a daughter Tonya Walker, grandsons: Alex Walker (Mary Ann), Ace Walker, Andrew Neff, and a granddaughter, Paige Neff. Also 3 great grandchildren: Kadence, Oaklynn and Braylen, all of whom she cherished and loved dearly. She is also survived by a sister, Judith Chambless, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and a son, Richard Perry Odum, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at (12:00 pm) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4440 Fort Jackson Blvd. Columbia, SC 29209. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at (11:00 am). Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 845 Leesburg Rd. Columbia, SC 29209.
