Virginia J. McGrady, 92, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away June 11, 2025.  She was born on January 7, 1933 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Jesse and Mae (Winters) Joye.

 

She and her late husband, Donald E. "Charlie" McGrady, owned and operated Motorcycle Sales and Service together for over 30 years.

 

Virginia is survived by a son, Mark D. McGrady and his wife Renee, of Lexington, SC; daughters, Joye Wolfe and her husband, Michael of Orangeburg, SC and Karen Main and her husband, Richard of Oxford Florida. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Ryan Main, Hannah Main, Delaney McGrady, Michael Wolfe, Jr. and his wife Erin, and Matthew Wolfe; and three great grandchildren, Michael "Mac" Wolfe III, Rhett Louise Wolfe, and Bowen Wolfe. Virginia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to treasure her memory.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Charlie McGrady, and her sister, Doris Joye Moore.

 

Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She considered her grandchildren to be her greatest gift.

 

A private graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday, June 21, 2025 with the Reverend David Spears officiating.  Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
