Charlene Marie Moran died peacefully on June 11, 2025, at her home in Haines City, Florida.  She was born on January 3, 1944, in Chico, California to Margaret Elizabeth (Hoffman) and Charles Raymond Kilbara.  She grew up and spent most of her young adult life in and around Saratoga Springs, New York, where she graduated from St. Peter’s Academy (now Saratoga Central Catholic School).  Life took her, her husband, Philip Moran, and their children Scott, Traci Jellison, and William (“Billy”) to central Massachusetts and ultimately to central Florida.  Charlene generously shared her home with a number of extended family and friends over the years and had tremendous love for her three grandchildren by birth and many others by choice. Charlene had a variety of jobs over her career, but her favorite was working in retirement at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. 

She was an avid collector of teddy bears and Disney memorabilia, particularly Winnie the Pooh pins.  She used her accounting expertise to serve for many years as the Treasurer of the owner’s association at Center Crest in Davenport, Florida, Charlene was predeceased by her parents, husband, children Traci and Billy, and a cherished companion, Bob Williams. 

She is survived by Scott (Tracy) of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, grandchildren Dylan and Katie Moran and Derek Jellison of Coventry, Rhode Island, and her brother, Michael Kilbara (Vanessa) of Cape Coral, Florida.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Clubhouse at Center Crest RV Park at 334 Center Crest Boulevard, Davenport, Florida, 33837.
